‘Blue Turaco’ was purchased in 1982 from Plymouth with the current owner being the second owner since new. She was originally registered with Lloyds of London. The boat has been lovingly cared for over the years and sailed hundreds of miles in the Bristol Channel and Ireland. The boat has never been raced. She has been kept on a drying mud (half tide) mooring during the summer months and taken ashore in October until April. The engine was originally a Volvo MD7 which was professionally replaced with a 12.5HP Beta diesel in 1995, the first in a Vega yacht. Engine usage has been on average 30/40 hours per year and has never failed to start and runs satisfactorily. Alternatively, she can be loaded onto a trailer/lorry for removal using the Clubs Boat Lifter.

Note: The hull needs a repaint, lazy jacks and spinnaker halyard need replacing. One seized seacock associated with WC.
